When do TACHS results come out? The 2026–27 timeline
Short answer
Families can see TACHS scores online after 3:00 PM ET on January 22, 2027. Your three chosen high schools get the scores earlier, by December 7, 2026, and schools can start sending admission decisions on January 13 or January 20 depending on your diocese, so a decision may arrive before you see the scores.
Two different dates matter, and they’re easy to mix up. Schools get TACHS scores first. Families see them weeks later, and that’s after some admission decisions can already go out.

Admission decisions can start on January 13, 2027 in the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens and the Diocese of Rockville Centre, and on January 20, 2027 in the Archdiocese of New York. In both cases that’s before the Home Report opens, so it’s normal to hear from a school before you’ve seen the scores yourself. (TACHS calendar, TACHS Handbook)

Dates come from the TACHS 2026–27 Calendar of Events, the TACHS Student Handbook and the TACHS registration information. The calendar gives February 2027 for response cards without a single date, so use the date in your acceptance letter.
What the Home Report shows
The Home Report lists your child’s local and national percentile ranks. These are the same percentile ranks sent to your chosen high schools. (TACHS Handbook)
Two deadlines people miss
- High school choices close November 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Scores go only to the schools you enter by then, up to three.
- Your child’s school sends an Applicant Record. Catholic elementary schools do it online by December 10, 2026. Public school counselors send a paper copy by December 11, 2026. It’s worth confirming with the school in November.
