When do SSAT scores come out?
Short answer
Paper SSAT scores usually come out within two weeks. SSAT at Home scores come the Wednesday after the test, and Prometric scores the Wednesday after each Monday-to-Sunday testing week.
How fast SSAT scores come back depends on how your child took the test.
| How your child tested | Scores usually come out |
|---|---|
| Paper | Within about two weeks |
| SSAT at Home | The Wednesday after the test |
| Prometric test center | The Wednesday after each Monday-to-Sunday testing week |
Some releases take up to three weeks, and there’s no expedited scoring.
The step that can hold up scores
A parent must submit the Testing Experience Statement before scores are released. If scores seem late, check whether it’s been submitted.
Sending scores to schools
2026–27 SSAT scores can be sent to schools until July 31, 2028. For the dates of each paper test, see SSAT test dates for 2026–27.
