SSAT test dates for 2026–27: paper, at home and Prometric
Short answer
The 2026–27 paper SSAT Standard dates are Saturdays October 10, November 14 and December 12, 2026, and January 9, January 30 and March 13, 2027. The Elementary Level is offered only on November 14 and December 12.
The SSAT is offered on paper on six Saturdays, at home during set weeks, and at Prometric test centers. Here are the 2026–27 dates.

- Tests start at 9 a.m. local time.
- Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on the Wednesday before the test. Accommodated registration closes 14 days before.
- Late registration costs more. A $59 late fee starts about three weeks before the test date, and a $100 rush fee starts about two weeks before.
SSAT at Home
SSAT at Home is for the Middle and Upper levels in the US and Canada. It runs Tuesday to Saturday in select weeks. The fall 2026 weeks listed so far are October 13–17 and November 3–7, 2026, and E3n says more dates are coming. Scheduling closes 72 hours before the start, and testing generally runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
Prometric test centers
The Prometric SSAT is a computer test for the Middle and Upper levels, taken at a Prometric center.
